with Justice - Honoree Dinner -
October 29th
Jobs
with Justice will hold its
annual honoree dinner on
Saturday, October 29th
beginning at 6:30 p.m.
This year, Father Bill "Bix"
Bichsel will be honored for
his lifelong efforts to build
a movement for social and
economic justice in Puget
Sound.
Also
honored, will be the Federal
workers and their unions who
are fighting back against the
Bush Administration who is
attempting to take away their
collective bargaining rights.
The
30 members of the Labor Caucus
of Washington State
legislature who played a
crucial role in reversing the
disastrous unemployment
"reforms" adopted in
the previous session.
Nov.
8th -- ELECTION DAY - be
sure to vote.

Blood
Drive to be held Wednesday, Nov.
16th
A blood drive
to benefit the Cascade Regional
Blood Services, the only union
blood bank in the State of
Washington, will be held prior
to the Labor Council
meeting. If you want to
